Questions, answered.
What’s the difference between Starter and All-in?
Starter is the web app with everything to launch and sell online. All-in adds the iPhone, iPad and Android app on the same login and data; customers pay on the web, and the app shows their plan. Both are one payment, with unlimited projects.
Is it just a website template?
No. It’s a working app: personal and team accounts with roles and invitations, billing, an admin panel, emails, and browser and database tests. All-in adds an iPhone and Android app on the same backend. The landing page is the smallest part.
Which coding agents work with it?
Any agent that reads AGENTS.md, the open standard for agent instructions. The repo is set up for Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, JetBrains Junie, Google Antigravity, Devin, Kiro, Grok Build, and Cline. It also ships 49 ready-made skills.
I’m not a developer. Can I use it?
Yes. Follow the setup guide once. It lists what to install (Node, pnpm, Docker and Git) and how to start the app. Then you describe what you want and your agent writes the code. You’ll need accounts with Supabase and a payment provider, plus Apple and Google if you publish the phone app.
What happens when my agent gets stuck?
It’s told to check the kit’s written fixes before guessing. There are 17 so far, most with the error message, the cause and the change that worked.
One-time or subscription?
One-time. You get the repository and its updates, and you can submit what you build to the showcase. No renewal.
Can I build several products, or client projects?
Yes: unlimited products, your own or your clients’, on one licence.
Do I need a Mac for the phone app?
Not for Android: it builds with Android Studio. Running the iPhone app on your computer needs a Mac with Xcode; a cloud build service you set up can build it without one. Publishing needs Apple’s and Google’s developer accounts, as every app does.
What does it cost to run?
Free plans cover building: Supabase, Vercel, Resend and Expo all have one. Once customers pay, plan for Supabase Pro ($25 a month) and Vercel Pro ($20 a month, needed for commercial use), plus Apple’s yearly and Google’s one-time developer fees if you publish the phone app. Your coding agent’s plan is separate. You pay those providers directly; we take nothing.
How is it different from Lovable, Bolt or v0?
Those builders start you on their platform, and they’re quick for a first screen. shipanysaas starts you with a working SaaS codebase in your own repository: sign-in, teams, billing and tests, plus the iPhone and Android app with All-in. It works with the agent you already use, and you pay once.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days. Email us and you get a full refund.
Is my users’ data safe?
Every table is locked by default. The kit ships 23 database test files, and most of them sign in as other users and try to reach their data. The admin panel needs two-step sign-in. It’s a tested starting point, not a compliance certificate.
Is it certified, like SOC 2 or HIPAA?
No. Certifications cover a company and how it runs, not a starter kit. The kit gives you tested data isolation to build on.
